If you know someone around you who is being a little shady and you are getting uncomfortable around them, then maybe you might want to run a small background report on the person in question to make sure that they are 'who they say they are'.

Many people misrepresent themselves as the situation benefits them

His/her cellphone is often switched off when you are trying to get into contact.
Your spouse is particularly attentive or particularly inattentive towards you.
Your spouse tries to pick fights with you so that he/she can storm out of the house and disappear for a few hours.

If any of the above topics rings bell for you, its TIME for you to request us to find more about cheating spouse.

Accidentally deleted a post from Eva. Sorry about that. :(

I'm a bread baker, too and have always enjoyed the process. At one of my blogs, http://myjamjar.blogspot.com Denver Biscuits, a yeast potato roll is mentioned, my family's favorite. I'd love your whole wheat recipe. Have just gotten some yeast from the Amish that has to be refrigerated. That stuff really takes off fast! According to news trends, baking is coming back. I'm glad.

Hi Barbara,

I agree w/ Peggy -- the best baking bread story I've ever read. I felt like I was right there w/ you experiencing all the stages ... :)

I loved the way you phrased this:

The last little bit of total fun comes in punching down that big pile of puffy stuff. Sometimes it lets go of a happy sigh as the air leaves it. To me it sounds like the bread knows its journey is nearly done.

I'll never hear that sigh again w/out thinking of your words!

Peggy, you must try. It's so much fun and there's nothing terrible that happens if it doesn't work out well the first time or two. Just laugh and start again.

No, no, I don't disagree at all, Yvonne. No way I ever want a breadmaker, though I know some people really enjoy having fresh, wholesome bread without all the work.

Tapsi, Mmmm, banana bread. I would probably have liked middle of the night baking when my sons were small.

That was gorgeous! I enjoy baking in the dead of the night, when everyone in the house is asleep and cant come asking me what exactly I'm doing. Banana bread/cake is what I do best, and just the process of measuring, preparing, anticipating, beating, whirring, stirring - soothes me like nothing else. It hasn't been done in a while, but after reading this I have a feeling that my family will enjoy a nice, moist and cinammony banana bread tomorrow.

It's not so cold here. In fact, it is pretty warm and humid. No matter. I love making bread.

There is no bread maker in my kitchen. Years ago, my mother asked me if I had any use for one as she wanted to give me a breadmaker for Christmas. I said, no, no, NO, I will have no breadmaker in my house. NO. Okay, so she did not give me one and I am sooo glad. I totally love the flouring and kneading process. Love it. This is what nurturing is all about, yes? The raw product, the work of one's hands? Yes? I think so.

Do you disagree? Just curious.

Oh Barbara,
This is the most romantic bread baking piece I've ever read! I've always wanted to make bread and still have not found the courage, but you've helped. I'm so tempted to give it a try.
