About Barbara

Biography:

A novelist with more than 30 books to her credit, Barbara Samuel (O’Neal) put herself through university on writing scholarships, and wrote newspaper articles, columns and opinion before settling in with an ancient IBM typewriter to write fiction. She sold her first novel in her twenties, and has since won a plethora of awards, including two Colorado Book Awards, five prestigous RITAs, and a Best Book of the Year mention from Library Journal.
